All Saints Day

" Never part without loving words to think of during your absence. It may be that you will not meet again in this life "
There are different kinds of occassions that we used to celebrate like birthday, baptismal, Christmas, New year, wedding, fiesta, graduation, reunion, thanksgiving and etc. This are occassions that make us happy where family, friends and neighbors come together, taking pictures, enjoying the food, the place and most of all enjoying the moment of being together. If there are happy occassions, there, is also an occassion that make us sad, death of our love ones. Death is a fact of life that will going to happen in each in every one of us and there is no excemption. There is no rich or poor, young or old. When it comes your way, it's the fact that you cannot easily accept. Sometimes your at the point of denial and you need time and space to get over it. And you avoid the places that you often go together. You cannot accept the fact that you wake up alone without your love ones beside you and not seeing his physical body anymore. And your only living with the happy memories when you're still together. Now that All Saints Day is near on the 1st day of November, this is the moment that we are giving a chance to visit our love ones in the cemetery. We used to bring them candles, flowers, and prayers. It was also  a like a reunion with the relatives.
We lost our mother 17 years ago at the age of 44 and it was the most painful experienced that our family has to go through. I don't want to go on to details for it was too painful and it wasn't a natural death. Way back then my father was working in Japan for six years and has a plan to go home by December, but, my mother died on the month of February in 1994. So they haven't given a chance to see each other for the past six years. And their communication is only through telephone and telegram. I was only 11 years old that time, the eldest was 15 years old and our youngest sister was only 7 years old. Luckily, she had given a chance to celebrate her seventh birthday on January before we lost her. When our father came he was in shocked and thinking how's are lives gonna be without our mother and his partner in life.
That's why now that we're still alive, we should take all the time spending with our love ones. Do all the things that we can do giving and sharing.  Because we cannot bring them back to life when their time comes. And let us always do our best to make our lives become more meaningful by touching lives and by serving as an inspiration. So that when our time comes, they remember us and we had a special space in their hearts. I will always remember my mother as a brave woman.
