100 Days Before Christmas

Christmas day is near and the countdown begin. Its just September and you already feel the cool wind, you can hear the Christmas songs playing over the radio. The Christmas decors are now available in the market. It is the most special occassion of the year, where the children are excited opening gifts, receiving money from their Godfathers and Godmothers.
I remember when I was a little girl I had a happy childhood with my eldest sister. She is 3 years older than me. We used to play together like paper dolls, " piko ", clever, hide and sick, jumping rope, and base ball with our cousins. I can also remember our parents used to bought us same kind of clothes or things like we are twins. And during Christmas after attending the mass we go from house to house with our cousin to all the relatives we know to say Merry Christmas, " namamasko po " . And we are all happy filling our pocket with money and excited receiving gifts from our Godfather and Godmother.
But let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas, it is the time of giving and sharing specially to those who are in need. To the poor and to the homeless children. Merry Christmas to all and a prosperous and fruitful New Year. "Good tidings we bring to you and your kin, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year".
